Kayas Rescue Story

“Kaya was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas and brought to Northern California when she was just three months old. She was there for two months before she was adopted.

When her people met her she was terrified and shaking, and was completely unable to walk due to fear. They left the shelter that day without adopting her cause it seemed that she might be a difficult dog to rehabilitate. But that night they decided that that was their dog and came back and picked her up anyway!

She is two and a half now, and is very happy and playful. She is still learning to trust new people but she continues to get better every day.” -Kaya’s Owner
